When I was in my 20s, I worked part-time in retail management as a way to build up savings as I launched my own business. I’ve always had a penchant for dying my hair all kinds of colors, but since my workplace had a dress code requirement of natural hair colors only, I had to take a break from the bright pinks and blues for a while.
