- As you can tell, I haven’t done much shopping this month. With so much going on and our trip coming up in a week and a half, I’ve been like the lady in that photo – making my list and checking it twice. Trying to cram in grocery trips as well just hasn’t been appealing, so I’ve just been making use of what I have in my pantry and freezer. Plus, I’ll be gone for two weeks, and I want to use up any perishable ingredients so that they won’t go to waste.
- I’ve gotten some great articles lined up to run while I’m away, and I still have space for more submissions – so if you want to share your frugal thoughts and be a guest poster here on SCG, email me!
- I haven’t had a chance to post a new Coupon Funded Menu Corner in a while, so if you’ve been missing it, check out this post on my other blog. I was sent a dinner kit to prepare and review, and this is the article I wrote about it, complete with photos. The post also includes a giveaway for a gift basket containing lots of goodies and coupons for free products. (And I know you all love free coupons!)
Have you guys snagged any good deals lately? I know there’s been all kinds of sales at Safeway. Or maybe you’ve been eating out of your stockpile, too? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Holy smokes! Well, I crteainly don’t recommend washing regular disposable diapers. However, swim diapers are made out of a completely different absorbent material and re-wash very well. I like the idea of using a cloth diaper, but washing a disposable swim diaper is a great way to stretch out a pack if you already have one on hand. Thanks for the advice!
